I was Jean's first "away from school" haircut client. I'll never forget that evening, the care that she took to get the cut just right. Jean was indeed a person to model one's life after. God's peace to you, Paul, and to the rest of your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this most difficult time.

Paul & Family,
Working with Jean was such a joy for me. I worked Drivers License with her. What a lovely lady - smart, funny, and she treated everyone with such kindness. I was very lucky to have known her. I have great memories of her and I am sure you have many, many more, too! God Bless you all!

Paul and family,
Our deepest condolences to you and your family on the loss of a wonderful person. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. You know she's in Heaven with my grandpa, my mom, and my uncle reminiscing over all the shenanigans that were pulled through the years and laughing about every one of them! You will continue to be in our prayers through this difficult time.

Paul, Connie, June, Dean/Marilyn & families: Heaven has another special angel & remember God takes only the best. I bet Jean, her folks and ours are enjoying their card games together again. I'll always treasure Jean's friendship, as a special cousin, who always remembered me, even if we hadn't seen each for years. She was always bubbly with that smile on her face. She was very proud of you Connie & your family. It's never easy losing a mom, wife or a sister, how well we all know. I'm thinking of you all during this difficult time. Our family relation gets smaller weekly lately. Always be close w/each other and all family members. Family is important. Jean would want that. I think of you all often, keep in touch and hope to see you all soon. Love always,

Dear Paul and Connie, We are so sad to hear of Jean's passing. She was loved by all who met her and we have so many good memories of her. She was a great friend to Doc & Eleanor who lived nearby and helped them whenever they needed her. Our children Lee, Ann and Samantha will remember her as another grandma who always greeted them with love and tenderness.

I will always remember Jean as the nicest woman who always had a smile on her face. We moved away from Hawkeye when I was 11, but when I would return for a visit, if I ran into Jean, she always remembered me. My thoughts and prayers are with Paul, Connie, family, friends and the entire Hawkeye Community. Jean will be missed.
